There is no way to tell. If you mean getting the fluid to actually boil, that's probably well over 500°F. It doesn't boil at 212°F like water. If the trans was overfilled it doesn't have to get very hot at all before it will force fluid out.

I was plowing and it barfed fluid out...im about 95% sure it wasnt overfilled. Let it cool down and then added some to bring it back into range. e4od checked out two weeks later. Trans #2. Had 86k on it. First one went at 40k. Hax bad luck with trannys in that truck.

If Mark told me that piss was a good thing to run in the tranny, I would buy a keg of beer, invite a bunch of friends over and put a funnel in my trans fill tube.

Yup!LOL

For the record, My stock tranny has not seen above 185* while towing ~8,000lbs up and down some good hills in town. Once on the interstate, It ran around 170-175. (Still hills, just not as steep.)
