Also your truck is heavier than most according to your sig. Mine weighs around 8400lbs. Without the tc locked and in town driving those are gonna be regular temps for you most likely.

It probly weighs more now. I got a rear bumper and more tools. Lol i am thinking once i get the onboard air and my L tank it will be close to 10,000.

thats most likely gonna be your regular temps. id do a deep pan if you dont see temps above 220 because then it will take longer to cool down if it gets up that high. 180* is no big deal, is it warmer than normal? yes. but you got weight on your truck. not sure if any of these would be beneficial but maybe shouldve gone with a low stall converter or regearing.

Derale makes a sweet cooler, Mishimoto offers one as well. You would have to do some fab but these that im thinking of are remote mount with dedicated little fans.

As said above, a deep sump pan and some good fluid might help as well.

I also have 3.55, and a heavy truck that gets used for hauling/towing and my trans runs warm...

What's wrong with 3.55's? I have 3.55's and 38's and I don't have any issues with them.

I just think it would do better with lower gears. Its kinds hard to get a heavy load moveing. But it does grest once you get it going.
