One does not just simply "bend or throw a rod" Damage was done before hand. Just gave up the ghost oddly.
*update*
Something blew up on truck... Oil all over the bottom and yea my trucks done more details to come..
You would be surprised how sometime they just bend or completely throw a rod. Friends 6.4 just did it behind the bell housing explaining why he couldn't find the hole. Did this just rolling up to a stop sign iirc

Only thing that happened is a 4300 rpm peak during a launchOne does not just simply "bend or throw a rod" Damage was done before hand. Just gave up the ghost oddly.
I just pulled up at walmart and there was oil all over the rear end, exhaust, undercarriage, and all over the bumper and everywhere... Looks like a mixture of oil and fuel...Anything happen leading up to it? Right before it happened
Nothing.
Leaving a stop sign.
Only symptom I remember having was a few months earlier (August or Sept) idling and all of a sudden had what sounded like a rod knock. Shut it off. Started back up, all was well until it shuddered, popped, and shut off Dec 23rd. But I do agree, it doesn't just randomly do it.
Also doesn't help, that it appeared to be a Jasper once torn apart.
no knock or shrud.Piston Buh Bye I betcha
Drop the car and build the truck! At least once the truck is "built" it can be driven everyday and can be fun on the weekends( or whenever a civic pulls upLOL)
It won't be a 10k bill unless you're doing one mean build.
Yeah... no....... $11,500 to replace a 6.4 motor that threw a rod with a new ford reman at a shop on this site. It doesn't surprise me either. Chit aint cheap..
Because it windowed the block...
Rear main seal?
