Of those sizes, I've had both 255/85R16 (Toyo MT) and 285/75R16 (BFG AT and now Nitto Trail). Never again will I put a pizza cutter 255 on. Truck sank like a paperweight, same fuel economy, and they were toast after ~18K. I'll post up some pics this evening for ya. I should have pics floating around of all 3 set-ups. IMO, stick with the 285; this size offers the greatest selection in tread patterns and doesn't pose an issue with stock-height trucks, but still looks "appropriate" with a level.

I've run the 295's on my '01 for most of its life, no rubbing anywhere on a this particular stock truck. Selection in the 295 size is almost nonexistent last I looked, so that is definitely a down side.

The m/ts were on the truck when I got it, drivers side front rub the inner fender well. Took a piece of wire and tied it back no more rubbing. Truck is stock height.
