Would it possible to see exactly where and what was trimmed in some pics? This is making me more comfortable running these 37s on the new rims

This is from the under side of the truck. Looking at if from the top or side you can't see any of this. It looks worse in the picture. I may have to take the dremmel to it and smooth everything out so it doesn't look like I hacked it up.

Now is that the fender flare that was cut or the metal on the fender?

Fender flair and just a tiny bit of metal right by where the flair screws to the fender.

Roger that bub. I'll be taking the new rims to have the tires mounted on them tomorrow so I suppose I'll find out real quick what I'm going to have to trim if anything.

Also, for the guys that have spaced their bumpers out, how exactly did you accomplish this and what all was used?

I just used a dremmel to cut everything so it was defiantly nothing extensive or thick. Most guys just use some flat stock to space out the front bumper if needed

33s on 20x12s with a leveling kit. Just for reference for how tight a 35 would be. These still scrubbed a little on the factory flares.

Soooo...with a 3.5 lift, would you guys run 35's or 37's? 12.50s or 13.50s?

35x13.50 on a 20x12 will look awesome, I would bet they would at least rub some. I don't care for 12.50s on 12 wides since I dont care for the stretched look, but it would gain you a little bit of clearance and easier to fit

I dont.think 12.5 tire appears stretched on a 12".rim. If so I wouldnt.have done it because I hate that. There isnt a belly in the sidewall is the only real difference. Visually speaking.

Here's a pic of 37s on a 4in lift with 20x9 rims just for reference. I'm switching to a 20x10 rim with the same 37x13.50s tomorrow.

The more I see leveled 33s with a wide wheel the more I want to.ditch.my lift.

I like the leveled looks myself. Either leveled or 4 inches at the most.

The one I posted is a older gentleman's truck and he was tickled as **** with it. Even hugged Buddy haha.

I don't think my sidewalls are stretched... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1370916893.021580.jpg
I think you'd be lucky to clear 37s at 3.5" if you're offroad at all. and IMO leveled with 33s is too much fender gap
