Saturday I set my truck back to stock. I wanted to retrieve my stock file off the Livewire and save it to my computer. I did that and updated the SCT program and everything went fine. Went down to my truck, hooked up the battery charger and went to load up the xtreme mild file. Everything went fine, took the Livewire off and I kept the charger going for another half hour. An hour later the charger was still going for some reason so I shut it off unplugged it and had to get going. Tonight now, I went down to the truck, and it was dead. Lights were flickering and no crank. Got the battery booster out and started the truck.

Then, went for a ride and the truck was a complete smokey pig. Came home and loaded the street tune, no difference. Then, reloaded the stock file and still smoked like a pig and no power. Everything I try and nothing is doing the trick.

Everything was fine when I parked the truck when I put it away Saturday morning. Did not hammer on it or anything different. I was previously running Xstreet with no problems.

Now I am just frustrated with a truck that doesnt run right at all. Truck builds boost and power is just not there with a ton of smoke

Anybody have any idea what the issue could be?

I dont have any check engine lights just a couple codes.

Truck was dead again this morning. Took battery cables off and charging batteries now.

Will the truck run that different if battery voltage is not right?

Hoping that it is just the batteries?

Could it be possible that the vanes in your turbo are stuck closed causing excessive backpressure? Basically like a smoke switch does. Maybe I'm way off just my idea.

Batteries didnt help. Started and it was white smoking. Drives like a turd and misses. It might be turbo acuator but I dont know what is going on. It smoked white awhile then started to smoke black. It is like it is in limp mode, no power.

Sounds like your EBP sensor took a sh!t. Unplug it and see what it does.
When mine went out I read negative pressure on boost at idle and when I started accelerating. Felt like I had major turbo lag.

O yea. I will check it out. Hopefully it is something easy like that

Yes they do stick and they are a pain to clean. Did you set your tuner to disable the EGR? if you did then it wouldnt matter.

Yea tuner was set to disable EGR. But I set it to stock the other day to grab the stock file off of it. It must of stuck open or something in the time between I had the stock tune loaded and the time I set it to Xrace. I tried switching tunes many a time with no change. Thank you for replying
