I've read that there is an oil supply filter in the turbo pedestal. Is this a maintenance item? Where exactly is it? I've searched and can't find much.

We have a 19 F450 that has lost a turbo at 130k miles and 8100 hrs.

It’s not a maintenance item, however, ford does say to replace it any time the turbo is off.

Off subject. But thats a lot of hours for the miles. How many idle hours does it have?

I am close to 7800 hours and 325k miles.

I'd have to check but quite a few idle / low speed driving. We have 7 of them that get started about 5:30 AM each morning and don't shut down until the day's work is finished.
