Is it aluminum?

Ebpv rod seal took a massive dumo tonight. Trying to come up with a quick solution to do tomorrow until I can get a non-ebpv pedestal.

Looks like it's aluminum to me. In fact, I'm fairly certain it is, but I'm no metallurgist and who knows what alloy it is if that matters. Put a magnet to it....if it sticks, it's not aluminum. Sorry I can't be more help, never thought that much about this one.

Mine leaked also.

I just pulled the actuator arm out as far as I could and cut it off, then plugged the hole with a brass plug.

No more EBPV or it's pesky leaks.

No more EBPV or leak.
