Do not put a modded direct solinoid in. With 190s your tranny will live with innovative tunes on the street file, but it won't last long on race file.

ok will the hpop keep up with the 205's and what % tips? will the AD165 keep up also? i can tell that im going past what my goals are....

I would say you should be good to go for 205s but remember the stock tranny wont like full tuning with those very much.

I think I'll stick with the 190's and wait to build the tranny up and then jump on the 205's hahaha I guess I'm going the safe route

So what's the skinny with not using the modded direct solenoid?

Love the build though, always thought 190's with a smaller set of compounds would be a killer setup for doing everything.

IDK...i've been running a modded DD solenoid for quite a while with no issues.
