Finally got some free time and good motivation this weekend. I'm stoked that I'm finally starting to make progress and hoping to keep this momentum up. I sure don't want to lose it like last time. Got the melted HVAC system out and cleaned up the engine bay a bit. Then started fabbing the motor mounts.

Thought they turned out pretty good. Was going to use factory 6.9 mounts and adapt them to the 6.0 but after setting it in its not going to work as planned so I'm going to order some 2" universal tube engine mounts tomorrow or make my own out of some flexane 94. Has anyone had personal experience with this before?
Wanting to the results to look similar to this.

After setting it in and taking some half ass measurements it actually has a lot of room. The factory up pipes clear and the fan looks like it will set in the factory 6.9 shroud possibly but right now it's just a guess until I get the mounts done. Hope to keep yall guys posted and I appreciate the support from everyone! Thanks!

I used those tube mounts in a 34 international I built for a guy, there is a little bit more vibration than factory but not something very noticeable. Looking good so far!

Yeah, Thats what I was considering. I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow and get some more info from them. Would you happen to remember the length on the mounts off the top of your head?

Gonna follow this one. Got a project swimming around in my Head I'd love to do once my 06 is paid off. Crew Cab 94-97 Gasser, swap in a 6.0 ZF6 (maybe built 4R) and Super Duty Axles. At least it sounds cool in my head lol.

Thanks for the subscriptions and kind words! I really appreciate it. Got my mounts ordered yesterday but they won't be here till Thursday... I'm a little on the inpatient side lol

Been slow to make good progress on it the past couple days. Finally got it level and made plates for the frame. I have to say that I am one OCD SOB lol. I have measured, moved and mocked more things than I would have ever thought I would have to. But I have to say I'm proud of my plates and to ruin that satisfaction my auto fab mounts are too big. Fml! I will be seeing if I can return these for a smaller diameter set from Autofab or just a whole different design for that matter.

Yes sorry to keep you goes offline for so long haven't gotten a ton done. Things have been crazy.
Got the mounts built, the frame cut for the a/c compressor and next step is the transmission cross member. Also changed my route on mounts after not having enough clearance with the Autofab mounts. Went with a factory 460 ford motor mount with a lot of surface area and should handle the wait without question.

I just need to notch a bit more for the compressor. It clears but don't want any issues with motor sag or twisting.

Any updates? I'm thinking of ditching the cummins and going with the 6.0 myself. So I'll be following closely
