The suspension on the 2003 to 2010 superduty trucks is pretty much stock. The only difference is that sometimes you will see upgraded shocks and limiting straps. I sell a lot of these trucks. They are awesome if they are right. Nothing even comes close.

Entirely different spring packs, shocks and limiting straps on em actually.

One of the guys that used to work here had one, an 07 6.0 with that same set up. I believe its a factory installed kit for the government and oil and gas industry. I also had additional bracing around the CAT and transfer case and oil pan too.

I swapped my axles with ex-border patrol truck. It didnt have limit straps, but it did have Bilstien coils and shocks all around.

ive been told the oil field trucks and goverment type trucks can call ford and order them with a factory 4" lift and highly upgraded suspension.

i even saw a show on the history channel i think it was about that as well.

pretty sweet tho, id buy one if i came across one

If someone could get the VIN off one we could look up part numbers to get an idea about if the parts can be had.

There's a VIN for you guys. An 08. Also you said the pics were bad, what do you want a pic of? I posted what is able to be seen, there is a blue coil, a bump stop inside the coil, and 2 limit straps per wheel. There's nothing else to take a picture of. Let me know.

Sent from my Droid RAZR because I told it to...

Did a quick parts search by VIN and heres what i came up with for parts number for front spring

Using the VIN for the border patrol truck i got this

F81A-5310-AGD
#2, spring code D
(5600lb)

Using the VIN on my 08 F250 lariat with the camper package i got this

F81A-5310-AHD
#2, spring code C
(6000lb)

I dont know enough about the springs to know if thats the right spring or not. Just what the ford parts web site gave me. :dunno:

Probably need to know if it's gas or diesel too, that would make the difference on the springs...
