I've installed injectors/oil spouts and I'm getting ready to crank engine over to get the oil out of the cylinders. When I put the driverside valve cover on to keep oil from going everywhere. It wont go all the way on because it is hitting the top of the injectors. I know I don't have the gasket on yet either. Everything is torqued to specs and injectors are seated. Is this normal?

Nope. It’s an impossibility if injectors are seated.

Even with no gasket? The ccv part on the inside of the valve cover shouldn't hit the top of the injectors?

I never tried that. In that case it’s possible .

I’m pretty sure it’s because the gasket isn’t in there. The same thing happened to me.

I believe your right. I just took the valve cover back off and ran a straight edge across the injectors and they are all even. I think cause the gasket is not on that the ccv part of the valve cover on the inside is hitting the top of the injectors. So the valve cover wont go completely flat onto the surface of the head.
