variable vane brake

I got a 6.4 powerstroke with a 6 speed manual. Banks doesn't have a speed brake for my application (6 speed manual) and there is no exhaust brake on the market for the 6.4. Could I wire up a switch that would make the variable vanes move to create back pressure?

Eric at Innovative used to do this with the 6.0's and it worked great. Last time I talked with him about the same thing on the 6.4, If I remember right because it has been a while, is that he could control the vanes like the 6.0 but something else was screwing it up.
