my truck came w/ AVS in-line channels. They work great. I actually am about to spray them BLACK w/ Dupli-color Plastic. I did this to my same ones on my 06 150 and loves the added visor when it was painted black.

My 05 has taped on ones. ***k those things. busted one in a snow storm now they look like hell. i ripped them off and need to scrub the tape residue off

Avs in channel is what i have. Dad has the weathertech in channel ones on his'13 and they make alot more wind noise then mine do

I dont have any wind noise that I can hear.
It's all about wheel speed and torque.
