Is it possible to disassemble the High pressure turbo and change the VGT actuator saft? A truck was brought to me that has it broken and the vanes stuck open.
For some reason i remember someone breaking this once before, i thought they mentioned it was all one piece. Tell your client to ditch the stockers and get the mpd budget single turbo kit, and buy a 66mm borg warner for like 800. Or companies like rcd, elite, swamps, industrial injection make relatively cheap modified stock turbo kits. That is, if the cost of the ford parts is extensive.
The problem is, that the turbos are BD stock replacements that were just installed by someone else, along with an EGR delete. He got the truck back and it was very smokey and laggy with P2263. The installer kept saying it was tuning(Spartan DD w/ 275 tune) he brought it to me and I found the broken rod that goes through the turbine housing.
