When replacing do you use any thread sealant on it

I'll assume that you are referring to the fuel restriction sensor vice the Water-In-Fuel sensor. The FRS is a tapered pipe thread and I would use a liquid type sealant over a tape-type to avoid isolating it from ground. I replaced the sensor with a plug, so I used tape since I wasn't concerned about the possibility of isolating it from ground. Cheers!
