I've got one from frozen boost, it ran all year long at 55-60 psi with no problems.

Yea thats def big lol. Make sure you check ebay, alot of times people like that put them on there alot cheaper.

Looks like a quality unit. Just sometimes it is easy to be decieved by the pictures on the web site.

Will it not fit where the heater unit sits under the hood? Or do you not have that removed?

Yeas it's removed and it's gonna sit there just protrude into the firewall a little...

I would just worry that if it was to blow, any flying pieces would possibly be in same compartment as the driver. I would cover what ever protrudes into the cab with a metal cap or cover of some sort.

It will be covered but if I blow an ic rated at 150 psi that's been tested at 170psi for 30 minutes I would be speechless.

I agree but I have learned from my experience that it is always better to plan for the worst.

I know with my luck i would manage to blow it at some point or another.

Hell if I didn't have bad luck when it came to my trucks I wouldn't have any luck at all
