I think you just like to start bs really lol. Calling Josh out, nope, maybe thats what you wanted to read as well. But I understand your point on pricing.

Do you have something you want to say? I don't give a flip if people buy warren transmissions. Obviously you have a problem if they don't, which is absurd. Jesse is making 850 in a 6.0 pulling the hell out of his truck at the track every chance he can get and it keeps living 300' pull after 300' pull. Do I think they are the only choice in town? No I don't. Does that mean they are no good? No it certainly doesn't and I never said or insinuated that. Quit putting words in my mouth and trying to twist what I say around. If you have some personal experience to add to the thread, lets hear it. If not, then consider yourself excused from the conversation. This is a forum where people want facts, not thoughts or opinions.

I am pretty sure I said what I wanted to say. Travis, sorry for even bringing up another option (hence thread title) for you in your quest of finding a trans. I just am unsure of how to read you and some of your posts Steve is all. No disrespect. I dont have anything against, Elite, BTS, NADP, TDP etc etc. Just brought up another option that is lighter on the wallet which was at OPs request.

Thats fine and there's nothing wrong with "giving options" but if you are unsure how to read what is written then do yourself a super big favor and don't assume somebody is saying something they aren't. I never even mentioned the word "warren" in this thread but yet somehow you arrived at the notion I was trashing them. Pretty crazy man.

Trav has been around for awhile and i'm sure he will buy what he feels comfortable with. Whatever route he goes, he for sure can't go wrong with those mentioned in this thread already. Whether its warren, MPD, or whoever., it will all be leaps and bounds better than taking it to a local guy who does stock rebuilds for half the price 24/7. That was my point from the beginning.

Both my elite trannies came strapped very well. They could have sent the trans with straps and something happened in shipping. Seen a lot of damaged products come off freight trucks that they tried to fix with whatever they had at their warehouse. My personal opinion is to have elite build you one. Ill never go with any other trans.

Obviously my choice is one of our transmissions lol. I've had mine in for over 2 years and other than really breaking hard parts due to wheel hop I couldn't be more satisfied

Buy it built. Suncoast, TDP, Elite, NADP...stuff is proven

Umm... Read first three words of thread lol.

Proven is my point, nothing wrong with Warren trans so far but are they really all that proven yet?

That's why josh said what he did. Spend more and do it right once or spend a little and build it over and over until you're broke

.
Bingo, nothing against the shops I've delt with on my numerous trans builds but doing it once would of been amazing. FWIW my trans hasnt skipped a beat in the last 6k miles of abuse and I absolutely love it, using Elite/DPC parts with a local building it - just took a few swings at the bat to do so.

Like I said, must of looked into to hard and took it differently than it was meant.

Yup, I talked to Trav a long time ago about buying his reg cab before Corbin bought it actually.

Not knocking anyone at all...mine came the same way dans did but this was probably 3 years or more ago...not a big deal it got to me

Any of the shops mentioned id go with trav just to have a warranty...nothing beats bts imo...ive snapped shafts before in a trans and it was on my own dime...broke one with Brians trans made one call and he said when you get it torn down let me know what you need...never asks another question

That speaks volumes imo

Josh, Dan, sorry to hear your guys trannys weren't shipped the best. I guess the good news is at least they worked when they arrived lol. I can assure you guys that tadd has put a lot of effort into shipping transmissions now, and when they leave the shop they are secure.
