Im sure this is a super simple answer for you knowledgable people but I just dont want to ruin my axle. My worry is burning a seal, or a bearing inside. (

Where exactly should I get the weld on traction bar brackets welded, and is there any special angle they should be at? I see some under the leaf springs, some under rear shock brackets, and some inbetween the two. Lots of pictures just no explanation why the location.

I just ordered the Longhorn fab bars. The front bolt under the frame rail, not to the side.

Thanks for the help fellas.

I welded my axle brackets so the bar straddles the inner u bolt for the leaf pack. That seemed to give me the straightest line up the frame. I hung them straight down below the axle. Used a plumb Bob string.
As for the heat, I didn't burn them all at once so the axle tube didn't get too hot.
