Found some old pics
Hey Matt....
Do you have a picture of the way you got that wastegate piping attached to the bottom of the adaptor?
That's exactly where I was going to put mine. (Balanced!!!)
Thanks!
And BTW...I'd keep it in the fenderwell, and just ceramic coat it, and cover it. Run the air filter in front of the rad for the winter, and down out the bottom for summer.
Yea i have that adaptor on the shelf. If i remember i can take a pic for ya. I remember welding it and having to let it cool slowly overnight cause its cast.
I'd love to see more setups with the turbos in the valley to eliminate the fenderwell downpipe.
If I had to do it again, I would mount the secondary like Kyle did, do an oil filter relocation, and still have the primary over the fender...it just works...and you can shorten up the piping a lot just by turning the secondary turbo to a right angle.
-look up the Turbonetics turbo mount for the 7.3L trucks...something like that for the sixes would be awesome.
put a cummins in it, then you'd have lots of room to work on it
I thought about it but I can't seem to find it haha. I know it's out there somewhere. I'll make it back out there tomorrow hopefully. I was looking for my jigsaw out there today lol had other projects going on.Right on.
...or....you could just send it to me to use....:naughty:
Buuuuuuuuuuddy!LOL
That's basically how my drag truck is. It's nice but i would want to move the ficm a little this time since its got less room to work with.If I had to do it again, I would mount the secondary like Kyle did, do an oil filter relocation, and still have the primary over the fender...it just works...and you can shorten up the piping a lot just by turning the secondary turbo to a right angle.

I'll keep that in mind. California isn't very fun with swaps though. I would have to do it with egr and everything stock to start with. And it has to be the same year or newer than the truck.put a cummins in it, then you'd have lots of room to work on it
You don't have problems smogging your compound kit? I live in so cal and theyre nazis about that stuff
