I think it would be a great idea. There is quite a few of us that travel to events and could help haul something to or from events to help offset the costs and help out fellow members.

For someone in the hauling business to make any money has to figure out to $2 a mile.

True - but if you are headed somewhere anyway and have room for someone something needs - you probably don't have to actually make money hauling - just offsetting some of the costs would be awesome.

For instance - I'm headed to Ennis Texas with a mostly empty gooseneck trailer - I could easily load up a truck, tractor, car, some hay, something that someone might need down there - I already have a pretty full load of personal stuff coming back. I don't want to mess around with a bunch of stops off my main course headed down. They would have to probably take delivery of whatever is needed at the track or very near the Ennis/Dallas/Ft Worth area.

Same here. I am planning a cross country trip to pick up a truck and bring back east. I will have an empty bed both directions. I would be willing to work with someone if they needed something moved and we could work it out ahead of time. I would not be looking for a profit, just a little help offsetting the cost of the trip.

Just a way to save everyone a little bit of money.
