I know these aren't much but have had 4 4 yard dumpsters and (5) 5 x 10 sheets of 1/4" steel on one load (lost the picture somewhere) but mostly tow fourwheelers, dumpsters, box trailers, and occasionally a 2520 John deer with loader. I'd love to hook mine up to a heavy load to see how it runs. But until then, I'll be "that" guy with a big truck towing what a 1500 truck would lol

I think it's interesting that they still make those trailers with the tarp tops. I guess if you need a trailer to get the job done without all the bling that's the way to go.
Tarp tops are much cooler in the simmer time down here too. I insulated the roof in both my metal top stock trailer and my horse trailer to help in the heat.

True if your living somewhere where you use the trailer in 100 degree temperatures it would really help. My big trailer has a fiberglass top and the walls and ceiling are insulated so it stays really cool.

Picked up our new 32' x 6'8" Delco from Paris,Tx last week. I already sold all the tires and wheels off of it and I'm picking up a new set of 18 ply 17.5's for it Saturday.

Been thinking about doing this with my tri axle for awhile now. If you don't mind, what did they cost you and where did you get the new tires/ wheels?

Lift, air compressor, tool box and tanks for my new shop on my 2016 25+5 Loadmax gooseneck

Haven't seen you around here in awhile, trucks still looking good as ever. I see that truck you set up for your parents is still going down the road too, haven't swapped out that engine yet have you? LOL

Yeah I know it has been a while. Ive just been lurking for the most part cause its been hectic with getting everything set up for my new shop. But thanks! Its undergone some changes mainly engine wise to make it tow better, still need to put my airbags on. Their truck is still running strong too! No engine swap for them yet lol

I can't get over how clean your guys pickups down south stay. A friend of mine has a 99 that could have passed for a twin to your truck back in the day. Lets just say that 17 years and almost 300k worth of Midwest life has done a number to it. It needs a box, tailgate, cab corners, rockers, doors, and front fenders to keep the list short. He would be be thrilled if his truck still looked as good as yours does.

Not to get off topic but how do you like the Cat track loader?

I have two Bobcats but we have been thinking of switching to Cat.

I have the same shlt sitting on the my trailer now just different brands. Is that a CL puller, hydraulic fold brush guard?
CL XL-pro with standard guard... it sure doesn't take much to taco the guard; just bent it back and reinforced it last week.

Thanks! I try to keep it looking good, but the hood needs a buffing and passenger bedside needs a little work.

The CAT 299D is the only track loader I've ever operated; farm tractors are where nearly all of my experience is. The CAT is definitely easy to learn and user-friendly although it's a bit tight for space in the cab imo. I can only spend about 5 straight hours in it before I get stiff and I'm about 5' 9". Other than that it has plenty power and weight to get a lot of work done.

Gotcha. I have a RSE Fab one with the same complaint. Mine is bolted on but I still break the bolts. Easy enough to do.

Springs on this dodge are rather pathetic.
