What have you done to your powerstroke today?

Nope. It's bone stock. 36,000 miles. Everything seems to be in good shape. I've talked to a couple people who said there's had it and they couldn't find anything worn so they started throwing parts at it and both of there's was the track bar. I just saw yours in the pic and it looked like you had some experience with jeeps. So I thought you might have encountered it before. Nice looking jeep by the way.

The '09 cclb 4wd that I had with stock 20s would death wobble on rough spots on roads, bridges, or overpasses.... it was way worse if you were in a curve when hit rough spot, my reg cab '10 will do it occasionally if the spot is rough enough. Both trucks had around 50k miles when I bought them.

Ok. I was asking about the Jeep because I have a 08 Jeep Wrangler X 2door. And it's got death wobble. I've been trying to chase down the cause. Just wondering if you have dealt with it or know anyone that has and what was the fix?

I'll start out by explaining that Chrysler decided to use a 14 mm trackbar bolt, with a trackbar bushing sleeve designed for a 9/16" bolt, and the trackbar bracket bolt holes are somewhere around 15-16 mm large. This is a sure recipe for DW if the trackbar bolts are not properly torqued and periodically re-torqued to 125 ft. lbs.

Fitted up one of these bad boys today.. M/T wheels with Cooper discovery SST (33x12.5)..
Didn't get to put them all on bc I didn't have the right lug nuts :/

Wheels are in good shape just need a good cleaning/polish, tires are fairly new. My friend offered me these for $800.. Worth it?

I've run a larger Cooper discoverer SSTs... a little noisy and if you do any gravel driving they throw rocks like crazy (the 'self cleaning' claim is no joke), although it may not be as bad with the smaller tire.

I've run a larger Cooper discoverer SSTs... a little noisy and if you do any gravel driving they throw rocks like crazy (the 'self cleaning' claim is no joke), although it may not be as bad with the smaller tire.

Got them on tonight and I love the looks.. Was dark so couldn't get a side shot.. Just need a good clean/polish.. But yea they are kinda noisy but not unbearable.. Truck rides a little better too. As for the rock throwing, I was aware of that lol. I've got some sheets of the clear plastic to put on the body behind the wheels to protect the paint.

Man I bought it from the dealer.. It's an fx4 grille.. Came out of the box as it sits!!
