You also bought the thick membrane correct? That stuff you're rolling down kills vobrations, but that's pretty much it. To really make it quite there's two other products you put down after the dynamat.

Not trying to make it a recording studio, just needed to quiet down the vibrations, which is what this did. Very well. Quieted down the exhaust very well. I doubled up on the front for a couple of reasons also. One being greater vibration dampening. Also I ended up pulling the factory heat pads that were stuck there so I did it for heat resistance as well. Completely covering the floor and eventually doing the ceiling and middle and rear pillars should give it some better insulation also to go along with the ting. Hopefully it's good insulation to keep the truck warmer and cooler for longer when it's not running also.
But I got the front driver's side caliper and rotor replaced today as well as some new pads. Hopefully she will be good to go for a while. Many hours of love for it over the past two days.
