Yup, I'm fixing my old truck, fixing the cab and making it a hunting/offroad rig where I don't give a rats on the exterior. Will push about 450-480 and rock it till I blow it. Being it won't be DD anymore. I'll have time to rebuild.

Will be stuffing 37s on a 2.5in lift and rocking it.

That's the plan! Just need work to mellow down.

New tires, inspection and new running boards thanks to Tom@BTK. I guess I should probably wash and wax the truck so there is something to match the way these shine.

The mxt and the stt are ridiculously close. I'm on a tight budget at the moment. And I'm not a fan of them. There's a lot of swaying around from the tread. I turn the wheel even just a touch and I feel the azz end swing out. Not a fan of that feeling.

Looks obviously different to me..... Maybe my "rediculously close" detector is way off calibration.

And if you are on such a tight budget, why buy new running boards?

See why people give you so much chit here???

yup.. way different.. tye stt has equal size center tread blocks and the mxt has all sorts of different sizes. they are swept the opposite way from each other and the stt will grab a lot harder then the mxt.. mxt grabs better after 10k miles or so.. stt will balance way better too.. currently have 5 sets of mxt's on our work trucks. they will wear better then the stt but wont grab as well..
