I spent all day dicking with a 38 gallon tank. It turned into a real pain in the ass... had to build a sending unit out of two old ones because the kit that comes with it is for a gasser.

Then I had to modify the skid plate to clear my 5" exhaust and basically scratch built the whole exhaust from the axle back to make it fit. But, its in there now and I'm pretty sure I've got the only OBS with a 38 gallon tank and 5" exhaust out the back

tech customs 2.5" kit off ebay. Just something cheap for now till i get icon 2.5" coil springs.

Re read this and my first post was right before I edited it out... we put one in rat49f6' truck a few weeks ago, didn't have to mess with his 5" though. It still fits fine

Just realized today cruising between 65-70 mph, that my egts are now between 50-100 degrees lower than before i cleaned the cooling fins out. Glad it was worth the time I spent pulling it out and clean them cooling fins.
