Traded the old '13 for a brand new shiny '16 today. It's raining like a son of a bitch here so pics will have to wait for now

I figured it needed an oil change, might as well put the better 08+ cover on.

I need to do this myself. My stocker looks like chit.

Any ideas what would cause recurring hpop mounting gasket leaks on a 7.3?
Just replaced it something like a month or two ago, just started leaking again. It's the ford gasket.
Can I rtv it also?

You sure the front cover doesn't have a small crack? Guy here locally has a 7.3 that has had 3-4 front covers crack out and leak...

Nothings a guarantee, but I highly doubt it.
Why would it have stopped leaking for a month with the new gasket?

No problem.
Any thoughts on the rtv?
I mean sure, I'll likely end up replacing it. But for now I'd rather not.

Got the donor on the lift. Gonna spend the long weekend tearing it down and trying to get it cranked in the frame.

Pics of it after the weekend, or it isnt happening!

I just got mine back together last night. Put head studs, push rods, beehives, 238/100s. Finished and finally got her started about 12:30 this morning. It was good to hear it run!
