That is funny. Welds are tougher then most steel. There is a reason we put welds on on contact point to keep the metal from wearing thin. The weld Would be a lot tougher then that steel by a long ways. I have a hitch just like that in my pickup. It has slop and bad slop needs to be fixed but I will say this. It has never banged around or pounded me. I have even had 30+ thousand pulled by it. Never slammed me around. It might do it in the city though. If I cant flip it down or pull the ball out. I will not use the hitch.

The last 2 trucks I had had plates bolted in the bed so it doesn't bother me. Better than getting hitched for 400 miles at a time. Worked like a dream for this 550 mile round trip today

So it "paddles" through the mud instead of digging a deeper hole. I'm told it's been proven that they work better for the "slough" down at bricks off road park?

Kinda defeats the purpose of running a tractor tire doesnt it?
You need way more tire speed so you can run them in the right direction. Make that baby walk on water.

Don't get a 6.4 trust me. Go back an engine to a 7.3 until you're out of school and settled into a job. Believe me you cannot afford a 6.4 and go to school. I swear it's just not possible.

Why couldn't he afford a 6.4 and still be in school? I must have a freak or something according to y'all. 196k miles and all ive had to fix is the radiator

Tuned and deleted at 134k, the day I bought it. Put a radiator in it at around 165k I think. Other than that just oil changes and fuel filters.

Once I'm settled(and if everything goes according to plan) I'm getting a low mile 6.7. I just love 6.4s, and might be able snag one for $14-16, I have a SCT that I'm just sitting on that my boss would let me keep.
