Got my PTM on the front and rear, had to modify license plate light harness, like really Ford two 194/T3 bulbs and you change the whole harness connector on the bumper?? wtf. And mocked up the front grill.

Wife took a turn too sharp and hit the passenger side running board, lower part of the door, cab corner and front part of the passenger bedside on a piling today. Been talking to insurance and having an estimate done on Wednesday. Sucks but she didn't get hurt and that's all that matters.

Your last sentence is absolutely correct...

However....this is exactly why my wife has never driven mine! It's not that I don't trust her, because she is a safe driver. But we are talking about a huge size difference between our vehicles, and she has never driven anything as large as my truck.

And sticking to the thread... I plugged it up. About it for today.

Jay, I'll take a video and post it the next time I clean my seats. Maybe this weekend. If detailers are telling you to use the KR stuff, than use it. I only use the Pledge because it was recommended by my FIL and my BIL uses it on his leather seats and it works great.

Can't compare being you have sealed leather seats. All you need is soap and water. Unless you have cracks on your seats. Conditioner won't make it any softer.

As far as tricks and tips. Minimum amount of everything! Also, on your hard plastic in your truck dont use armor all, it will leave everything a greasy mess. I personally use meguairs natural shine, it gives it a factor finish that doesn't collect dust like AA.

Also, dont use the soap at the car wash, most of the time its not PH balanced and will effect your clear coat eventually.

When washing your truck keep a separate sponge for your rims and check your sponge every half panel for Dirt that may scratch your paint.

If you want a silk smooth paint the. Use a clay bar or nanoskin every 6 months. This will help with water spots and keep your paint looking new. Make sure you follow up with a good wax.

Never wash your micro fiber cloths with other clothes. Wash separately and use vinegar for the fabric softener, then hang dry.

And too add to a great post, use two buckets. One to rinse and one for soap. Every time before you dip your sponge in the soap bucket, clean it in the rinse bucket.

Yeah, you can also make a DIY grit guard with the bottom of a milk crate.

Hauled a cord and a half of good red oak blocks to bust for firewood. Nearly got stuck in some sloppy junk that wasn't 2" deep. I hate a 2wd dually sometimes. Covered half of my trailer, and most of those blocks, in mud in the process. Forgot to snap a pic.

So not today, but we had one of our twice-a-decade snowfalls in the area over the weekend. Found a new oil leak in the snow under the truck. Probably the pedastal O-rings....again. :(

Truck sat for a while:
