shop here got a dybo and have had some issues with the belt /brake, u can see the floor grate off so a shop hand could watch and make sure everything was going accordingly.... Apparently he didn't know a tune only truck still smoked
Installed 2" wheel adapters and 5" exhaust. Pics when fitment of exhaust is worthy to look upon. It is just clamped now and I need to twist the down pipe and second section a lil bit. Also need to tear out the DIY plate for the goose neck, so the over axle section sits upright resulting in the tail section being put on finally.
Got late and decide to run it as is temporarily. Looks like the bed will come off tomorrow if I can get a hold of some bolts for it.
If anyone is up in the air about 4" vs 5" on a 7.3. 4" will get you some nice loud sound where as 5" will wake up the neighbors at WOT pegging 3K+.
Finished taking apart the engine enough to take the front cover off. Then put the new cover on and put it all back together and in the pickup. Plus got the tranny in to. has been a good day!
Clean out the air filter, my cousin must have never cleaned it at all! Wonder if the mpg's will go up now
It has the AFE power system on it.
The I don't like it cause it's not right were it hooks to the t-bo. Not dirty right there cause it was shoved on good with a clamp but still you can pop it off with your hand. Any body else have theirs fit like this? Thinking of taking some rubber and making it a tighter seal
Oil and fuel filters change. There was some crystal like stuff in the frame fuel filter. Not sure what is was, got all the I could get out, out though.
Did the side molding delete mod and removed the Powerstroke badges. Now I need to find that eraser thing to finish removing the adhesive. Got most of it off, just need to remove the rest of it and polish it up.
Oil change, fixed the last fuel leak, fixed an air leak, repainted wheel wells, Washed her, put $370 worth of fuel in it... Was going to wax her, but I'll mess with that tomorrow
