It's a "Fueled by haters" sticker. I met them at Rudy's. Really cool people.

I don't think I'd ever go back.

I'll probably keep a newer truck. But I miss the hell outta my 7.3! Lol. It may just be the memories associated with it! Lol. And believe me there were a LOT! LOL

Mixed up some clear and tinted it with black base and sprayed these. Upgrading to LED bulbs is my next priority!

I mixed the clear 5:1 (5 parts DC3000 clear - 1 part DBC basecoat without any reducer)

Then I sprayed 3 medium coats with 5 minutes between each coat.

Turned out beautifully.

did you prep the lights before hand? Any adhesion promoter?

Prep work as follows:

Clean well with wax & grease remover.

Wet sand with 1000 grit, avoiding the clear part for the reverse light.

Tape over the reverse light lens.

Take a sharp exact-o knife and cut the masking tape around the outline of the reverse light lens.

Then spray two light coats of SEM (or similar brand) plastic adhesion promoter.

Finish off by spraying the tinted clear coat mixture mentioned in the above post. Continue adding as many coats until you reach your desired darkness. For me I found that: 1 coat is a light tint, 2 coats is a medium tint, 3 coats a dark tint, and 4 coats is basically black.
