what looks better 18x9 or 18x12

I like the "narrower" ones that only barely hang past the edge of the body/fender flare, but then again, I'm not trying to fit into an ethnic genre to which I don't belong. :toast: just ask yourself "do I want a super duty donk", or "do I want a Tijuana truck?" If the answer to either question is "yes", then roll with the 12 wides.

My thoughts exactly. Yesterday on my way to work I saw a Dmax at a stoplight going the opposite direction as me. Lifted, dark tint, looked good. UNTIL... I saw his Tijuana wide tires! Ruined the entire truck!

Looks like a big prolapse at each wheel well!!!

Going with wide wheels in 17, 18, and 20" is a lot better than going with 24s and rubber band tires.... Seen quite a few of them and they look like crap!

Yea, that truck is classically beautiful. Big Red!

I have seen trucks with narrower trucked in wheels and trucks with wide wheels also and they both look good as long as they are executed properly. I have 12 wides on my 00 and they dont really stick out.

I like the way it sits. I think the 37" tire and 18" wheels has a good sidewall percentage..haha if that makes sense.. The tire doesn't look too big for the wheel and visa versa...

Um.... I TRIED to race at MoKan. It had smaller wheels and tires on it then. My HPOP isn't big enough to keep up at WOT. It ran 16.7 or something like that but nothing too impressive. Thanks for the compliment though!
