I am also running a Excursion and have had a few tunes in my life. For the X I strongly recommend Matt @ gearheads tunes. I have run his with the X as a stock setup as well as my current mods and in between. You will get lifetime upgrades anytime you change something or want/need a tweak. His are some of the best when it comes to limiting smoke and having great drivablity with good safe power etc.. Tell him what you are looking for and he will accommodate you. You want something tweaked a bit he will change it.
