If its a pickup you could even pull the motor mount bolts and trans cross member lift the engine just enough to get to the pan off. Rather than pull the full motor. I would think looking at it that would work. Maybe I am wrong as I have not done it. When I was doing the head studs it looked like that might work.

I have heard of people doing that and just as you get to the point of getting pan out, the trans bellhousing cracks. I'll try the pump first

Im so in the air right now. I think Im going to pull the forged rod motor I have apart first, if everything is ok in there, throw some rings and bearings in, and run the forged motor.

My old neighbor told me when I first started driving to gravity bleed the brakes. Its a good suggestion and extends the service life of brake parts.

Does anybody think its possibly the Amsoil dual bypass causing the airetion ? I don't remember how the truck was prior since I did it the first month I had the truck.

Can not say but I do not like their system. One way to find out. unhook it and run just an normal filter at the stock locations and see if there is a dif. I would do it with a full oil change as well to start on a clean slate so to speak.

I will say I am not a fan of their dual kit. But not to say that current ones are bad. As long as its not a one of the original units. I do not like relocating the full flow filter without good reason to do so.

its been gone for 5 days now... I have thrown several check engine lights, ICP psi, so I know I have beaten on it a few times... It runs 10 times better...

There is the usual 7.3 shake, but for the most part, I think its cured... I pull the dipstick and its not white with foam, just a few bubbles here and there. I have been comparing it with trucks at work and it seems to be idling fine hot compared to them...

I cant believe it..
