what to expect for hp?? tw chip??

Just ordered an afe stage 2 intake 4 inch straight Pipe and ts with Tony wildman custom Tunes. What kind of hp shouñd i expect? Is anyone runnin a tw chip? Is so do you like It?

You will get the same peak HP as everyone else does with stock injectors... About 300hp...

Oh ok thanks. The truck Im doing this to is not my daily driver and Im hoping to get around 400 rwhp when Im done any suggestion for turbo and injectors that will work with stock fuel system and hpop to Help me get there??

400 would be where to stop if you have a PMR motor... A Gt38r, T500 hpop, stage 2 injectors, and a aftermarket fuel pump should easily get you there. You can leave stock fuel and hpop but you would probably be on the border of them living for long and being reliable

I had

Swamps 160/100's injectors

T500 HPOP

Swamps tunes on PHP hydra

Swamps HFHV IDM

AD 100 for fuel filtration

Walbro fuel pump

Beans fuel tank sump

Stock ford reman trans

MBRP 5 inch exhaust

425-450 RWHP

It was a good setup if I was to do a 7.3 again I would do a built trans either a BTS or a twisted diesel.

Let me tell you that brand new stock reman trans hated life TC slipped like carzy on the hottest tune.

If you are think of making that power I would do atleast a TC and valve body to get you by until you got the money for a built trans.

So is 400 hp low enough to mantain reliability ang longevity? Pmr rods? Truck is a 2000 build date is 8/99 any chance They would be forged?

You got a forged motor 2001+ was PMR.

I ran my truck 3700 RPM+ all day everyday stock motor stock bottom end and top end 310,000 miles. late 1999

4500+ at drag races

Not saying its safe but that where I ran mine and it had no problems and yes 400 HP is safe on a stock forged bottom end.

Well that is some good news!! As far as tranny goes its a manual any clutch ideas and what all will i have to do to get the tranny itself up to speed with a 400 hp setup?

I would do a south bend clutch.

400hp is easy... 38R, 160/100's and your there. Factory HPOP, Factory fuel system (I would suggest a fuel pressure gauge to keep an eye on things) and enjoy...

Yes it itself will hold up a good clutch is all you need

Well thats awesome. Good advice on the gauges got a set of ev2's on the way. Thank all of you guys for the info. Cant wait for parts to start getting delivered. Any of you all ordered anything from stealth automotive?

EV2's are one of the best on the market better than the crap glowshifts I had LOL.

Yeah i did a pretty good bit of research on them and thought They were the best choice. I hope They are as good as advertised though, cuz They Aint cheap.
