That's odd how do I have level 1 2 and 3 version 8. I emailed him about level 4 and he said it would be about a month

He's a liar, he pulled this crap a month ago. David has said TWICE now that ONLY 1&2 are out for v8 and that 3-4 will be released HOPEFULLY the beginning of Feb. Feel free to email or call P!P if yourself, but this Nissankid has now proved 2 times that he's full of sh!t.

I'm not trying to prove anything. Just a discussion thread

The trans shifting is improved, I still find it very lazy to shift when you are driving it easy. The 3-4 shift shock is gone.

Yeah, I talked to both the owner and head engineer from P!P, he said NO ONE HAS LV3-4 and WILL NOT HAVE 3-4 until AT THE LEAST THE BEGINNING OF FEBRUARY.

So your mystical "tech support team" giving you 1-3 is bs. Wtf would David Black himself say "3 and 4 are unavailable" if that wasn't the case? Excuse me if I believe him instead of some random kid who has PROVEN to be a liar?

As of Jan 21, levels 3 and 4 are not done, so stop lying and putting up false information.

just out of curiosity... does anyone ever tow say 8k-12k lbs reliably on a tune other than a lower powered/tow tune? like multiple times a week? any adverse side effects? I would assume most probably don't change tunes for just a quick half hour tow across town

I pull 15K 5er on the 600enhanced tune, still have a transmission so far. Just have to be careful and watch your gauges when pulling on hot tunes.

10-12K is nothing for these trucks, just keep an eye on temps/pyro

I have **********'s tunes. I run the Hot Street for daily driving and Tow when towing. Once in a while Tow will throw some random codes, but generally, the truck drives great and shifts just fine. I have PMF traction bars which I understand helps keep your tranny healthy when running tunes. . .

I'm running S******. Tow about 8000-9000lb rv (which really not much) from British Columbia Canada down through California to Reno and back. Everything works well. Definitely have to watch temps. Easy on the go pedal and you will be fine. 100k on truck now. Had on since new. Get about 10-12 mpg towing. 18mpg on freeway empty. I tow regularly at home on same tune. Why change? Its the way you tow imho.:D:D
