Fueling plays a big role in both setups. As well as tuning.

Changed your mind already?

no, i knew i wanted to move up to a 72 eventually anyways, and having the 66 be brand new that i got in the kit, it will be financially wise to sell it before i use it, rather than use it and change later and get less for it.

Gotcha. What you gonna do for fueling? I know that was an issue per say with the 66.

Most all the nonvgt turbos guys are running from what I gather are t3 housing with a t4 flange. Untill you need the bigger t4 housing. Pretty sure the only difference in flange is bolt location.

Ok that makes sense. Still running larger up-pipes to a T4 flange, just has the smaller housing. Gotcha.

Negative. They are all S300 framed chargers, but a T3 is a T3, and a T4 is a T4. The difference in sizing you are seeing is just based on what is made or readily available as a "box" charger for cheap.

For the 72, can I just get an s400 turbine Housing for it? I see most who have a 72 are s472 not s372. And would I be better off with that? It already has billet wheels.

s400 chargers are t6, but in situations like this its called A 372 because its still a 400 frame just with smaller turbine housing t3 or t4. ATS I know use these chargers and branded them a5k, my buddy has one in his duramax race truck. The Turbine and Compressor housing should be held to the center section with v-bands. The S300 frams are all bolt on housings.

But all technicalities aside, is the 72 overall bigger in size than the 66 when comparing side by side? You can easily tell a 300 frame from a 400 frame

oh ok, i just guessed it was different because it has a t3 flange on it. should i look into getting a different turbine housing with a t4? different size? or will a t3 to t4 adapter be fine to use it on my divided up pipes?
