s400 chargers are t6, but in situations like this its called A 372 because its still a 400 frame just with smaller turbine housing t3 or t4. ATS I know use these chargers and branded them a5k, my buddy has one in his duramax race truck. The Turbine and Compressor housing should be held to the center section with v-bands. The S300 frams are all bolt on housings.
But all technicalities aside, is the 72 overall bigger in size than the 66 when comparing side by side? You can easily tell a 300 frame from a 400 frame
That's huge... do you have oil to feed those things? What about fuel system?
Correction about the ATS A5k I had one and they are actually rebadged k31 turbos. Not arguing just wanted to let people know. I only know this because I went through this recently with Barder Turbo trying to get a custom turbine housing made for it.
I know they're pixie dust sprinkled k31's which is basically a 400 frame charger, although its not exactly an apples to apples comparison because they dont share a 300 or a 400 series shaft. Not even sure they offer the k31 chargers in the 3k lineup anymore do they?
OP: They're going to spool similarly, but that small t3 housing is probably going to need a gate on it. The 66/73/91 maxes out at about 650rwhp without needing a gate, and thats questionable. I see 1:1 WOT with mine at 48psi with 225's and some fuel pulled.

Ok, I just bought a set of 205/100's. Going to start off a little lower for now, got a great deal on these injectors. I'm going to take my stock ones and send them out to make them into a big set when I want to step up again and add another turbo. Still not sure on size but anyways...
These are still the two turbos I have, which would be a better match for these injectors? And would I be better of putting higher nozzles on them? So, 205/100's or 205/150's with which turbo?
205/75 and a 66/73/91 box turbo.
Even 100% nozzles haze, not as much as the 150s though. 75% is plenty on a street truck. 150s wont hold icp with 205s without fuel pulled back, i could t maintain on a 1.9pw tune.
Alright with most people so far saying stay 100's and one person saying go 75's but nobody saying go 150's I think I may stay with the 100's that are already on them and see what happens. I wouldn't spend money to go down in size without trying out what I already have. If I were to put money into them it would be to go bigger.
Adamv7010: are yours 205/150's? Who does your tuning and what ICP are you holding at wot? What turbo are you running with them?
Also everyone, the 66 is brand new in the box so I was just hoping the 72 would work good being that's its used already, for the sake of the value of the 66. The 72 is g2shuck's old turbo that he ran with 225's.

Yea 205/150
Erics tuning for plugged ports.
As greg stated...a 2.2pw tune will not hold icp.
I run a 1.9pw tune and im nearly out of oil @ wot
Josh on here has 225 and a 72 and he loves it. He has some videos of the truck and it spools fast for a 72. he had a 66 then jump to a 72. His build is on here under "my6.0build"
so in your opinion also, i should stay with 100's or go up to 150's? and what turbo do you run?
205/75 and a 66/73/91 box turbo.
