Dont do anything bigger than a 7. its just too..... you know.. lol. don't be like that. But a good exhaust exit always is a nice touch to a truck.

8in dump on my old 6.4.. 8in was over the line of too big, but i like the axle dump. keeps the rear end cleaned up and not noticeable

What was the length on the 8" axle dump?
That 6.0 is a nice looking truck!

Here is a 7" tip on my truck. 15" long and flush with the side of truck. Nice clean look. I think 7" tips is the max to go and need to be on 12" or 14" wide wheels to match.

I always enjoy the arbitrary "rules" people apply to their version of the "just the tip" game LOL

This is not directed at anybody in particular.

Just a comment on the fact that there's different strokes for different folks, 64 crayons in the box, etc.

Haters don't hate! I love how deep a big tip makes the exhaust note. 5-8" going on tonight

Video sounds sweet but I can't upload from phone
Do tips really make that big of a sound difference? I bought my truck with a 4 inch turbo back and it looks a bit to small for my taste. Wouldn't mind going with a tip

It's like a megaphone. The 8" is ALOT deeper of a tone than the 6" I had was. I think with my 37" tires and cclb style that the 8" looks perfect to me

Exactly I think it looks perfectly proportioned. When I went to 37'sthe one I had looked small so I got a bigger one :D. Looks good the way it is tucked up tight. I can't stand the ones that have a couple inch gap between the exhaust and the truck. I can barely slide my finger between the bed and it never touches the bed side support bolt.

Yes, I definitely only like to have mine tucked up tight. This was a bolt on tip, and I know they fail a lot so I was going to weld it on, but decided to use the bolt on clamp it came with and I also used 3 stainless rivets to help make sure I don't have it come up missing after a trip lol.

Hey man, is that an 18" length? I have a 7"x15" length and looks a bit funny so I was thinking about going a little bit longer on length and dumping it.
