Got to give props to Dieselsite....!!!!
Bob saw my post about getting the wrong wheel last night. He drove to the office to figure out what happened and called me. Packed up the right one and has it ready to ship to me this morning.
I didn't even get a chance to call them on Monday!!!
That's what I call top notch service!!!

Nope that is top notch service right there.

I am curious too as to how the truck will run when it is all done. I was pretty happy with it before , anything above and beyond is icing on the cake for me.

Thanks, I've had good experiences all the way with vendors I have ordered from. Dieselsite has been the nicest so far. I like to call somewhere and when I hang up all my questions got answered and I fully understand them. Plus I like the fact that they are only less than 2 hrs away if I needed anything.

To the OP, you were surprised you needed heads/headwork? On a 6L? Should be surprised when you dont.

Ill admit, I dont know tons about them. My uncle Jim just rolled 24k on his 07 KR. He only uses the truck to move horses twice per year. He said they fired it up and it smoked, smoked going down the road, and smoked all the way to the dealer. Had an aftermarket warranty from the original sale. He's an attorney and an IRS auditor so he's pretty good at negotiating. He negotiated them to fix his 07, keep it, and he got an 11kr with 18k miles for ten grand more. Sounds like the issues are widespread.

Sounds like to me the Ford dealer probably made out like a bandit on that deal. If all he did was drive it like that, more than likely the turbo vanes were dirty and needed to be cleaned. So they sold the 11 and then kept the 07 with low miles and sold it for a ton of money as well.
