So my truck has had 305/70/17 tires for half its total miles ( 168k ), without any decent mud flaps or fender flares. Throughout the years the lower body has been beaten with rocks and gravel from the midwest. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how i can paint it back to normal or cover this up so it doesnt spread or rust through?

Por 15, and I would suggest bed lining the rockers to prevent it from happening again! Definitely Por 15 it though. Turns rust to black oxide.

you think just bedline underneath of my chrome rockers? I guess I would like to keep it all the same color. thought about maybe getting some oem style fender flares and color match them, but its spread clear to the rear bumper as you can see in the pictures so I would have to do something different back there.

Yeah, I'd pull the chrome, POR 15, bed line, put the chrome back on. You can always get paint match bedliner!!!

Why do you say that? Heat em up, run braided fishing line behind them to cut the double sided tape, eraser wheel both sides, reuse? Why would you not be able to reuse them, I've done it a thousand time
