Widest wheel for 305/ 70/ 16 tires

The messicans around here mount 10" wide tires on 20" wide wheels all the time on there silverados. Just make sure to get the Virgin of Guadalupe painted on your tailgate and your last name in old English across the back glass. Curb feelers look good too if you can find them.

all that is soooooooooo true. ive seen that in person many times in texas.

Tires are obviously dependent upon a lot of factors, and if you take the exact 305MM that is a little over 12 inches, but that size tire is generally referred to as a 10" tread width tire IMO.

Which is true in all tires - very few are actually "true"

I had 305/70/R16's on my F150 mounted on 10" rims. It looked good IMO. I wouldn't have wanted to go any wider, but again, my opinion.
