You are at risk of claims being denied for lots of modifications.

Meh.... You guys could if you lift or modify suspension ..... But the windshield that's actually a federal law (now that's just from my deputy sheriff cousin but he could be wrong too.) I trust him though and if you guys think the juice is worth the squeeze go for it. It helps but it's too much of a risk in an already cutthroat world...

You guys?

I know what it feels like to have a large claim denied... Really sucks.

Somewhere down in Texas..
I had 35 on my windshield in my last truck, with a low 5 brow across the top of that. It actually toned down the eywbrow from the outside a lot, it wasn't as noticable. The stickers in texas suck, and the inspection place (yes, I actually passed inspection) ***ed the tint up by the stickers with their scraper. I didn't do the windshield in this truck though, just to avoid any possible issues with tint tickets in the future. I have 5 all the way around on my single cab, thinking about going back and adding another layer to the back window. They are dark as is, but my lack of a bedliner lets a lot of glare from my white bed through the back wkndow.

i have 50% on my windshield, 20% on the front two windows and 5% on the crew cab windows and rear. no drawbacks at all from the light aspect but what i notice is at night the glare from oncoming headlights catches my eye almost like the window is wet. i hope that as the weather warm up it improves but maybe the tint quality is just poor.

What's a good price to have 35% put on the sides and back of a crew cab?

I had my front windows done on Friday to match me rear windows. Was 80$ cash.
Windshield will be about the same amount.
The % tint doesn't usually affect the cost.

The insurance thing is what really scares me about the windshield. Not necessarily if they don't cover your truck's repairs, but if they deny paying for someone's medical bills. Those can financially ruin you for pretty much the rest of your life. I guess I'm just paranoid, but it sure looks good though.
