Yes I spoke to you through a PM earlier about what I'm looking for, and thanks for the reply! I'm worried about the cost of freight killing me if I get a trans from you. I guess if I'm not able to find one within a reasonable driving distance, I'd like to find a good enough deal to offset the cost of having the trans shipped! But I'm still keeping you in mind as I'm getting closer to buying.

The input shaft depends on what Transmission they are behind. You could get a manual or electric behind either transmission. So yes you can take an auto shaft from a 273 and put it in a 271 if you were switching to a manual shift t case per say and vise versa

Yea, trying to put an automatic in my truck and the t case that the input is coming from is a 273 and I have a 271 from a manual.
