wtb 6.0 cat delete

My buddy has a 05 stock 6.0 looking for a cat delete pipe bolt in bolt out. New or used just hopefully no dents. Thanks.

Why doesnt he just hollow it out? Stock appearing, give you added sound and better flow.

I heard they drone when you do that. But i guess he could find a old cat and use the ends weld a straight to them

It's the other way around. I had my hollowed cat on my truck for a while with no negatives. I wonder what happened to it.

It had my exhaust turned down right out of the CAT after hollowing it out, and never had any drone issues. Now i have duals, still no drone.

If i find it I will probably keep it for my truck. Unfortunately I think I threw it away before emissions became an issue here in Cali.

My friend did the same thing with his cat and it sounded much more raspy with a hollowed out cat, put a pipe through the cat and it sounds a lot better now.

Does he want stainless? If not just use a piece of 3.5" exhaust pipe and pah-pow.

I bought mine from Pure Diesel Power, bout $50 and 10 min to install, bolts up to the oem pipe perfect.

Does it bolt to the stock down pipe? What make is it?

I've done both. Had hollowed cat for a while. Like mentioned above, it's pretty raspy sounding. Bought the delete pipe from PDP, totally different sound! Much deeper. Took all of 10 minutes to install it.
