I used duplicolor rattle cans, has held up great on all my stuff, painted Window visors 3 yrs ago and haven't had any issues

Sanding, primer? Just clean well?

Sanding with 400 grit after removing factory cap, wash with dish soap, sandable primer(allow adequate dry time between coats) 3-4 coats, wetsand last coat with 600, 3 coats of paint(dry between) 4 coats clear(lots of dry time between) wetsand and 1 top coat of clear
