Try tape on the outside gap between the door and the window on the pillar. If that doesn't stop it, try in other areas until it stops to narrow the area down. Mine still does it to this day, I never think about it until it does it again...........

So this pirate walks into a bar and he's got the steering wheel off the ship shoved in the front of his pants.

The bartender says "hey, mate - you have a steering wheel in your pants!"

The pirate says "Yaar, I know! It's drivin' me nuts!"

The ford dealership here has figured it out. A freinds truck was doing it too and ford got it to stop. I will ask him what they did.

Mine quit doing it when i got my windshield replaced. I thought it was the glue that holds the windshield down that might have had a gap in it but the installer showed me the old one all that was fine.

What he did different on the new windshield was he used that same glue that holds the windshield down to glue the plastic end pieces on the windshield. It hasn't done it since. That was always an embarrassing noise when someone was riding with me.

My truck does the same thing over 80mph or with bad cross winds. Its the top left corner of the windshield trim. I have put tape over it and it stops.

My 05 did it, stopped when my windshield was replaced. Ford must have cheaped out on window sealant. Was also in the top left corner too.

Same here, it only does it sometimes at those speeds, scared the chit out of me first time it done it. I haven't tried anything to fix it. Doesn't do it often enough to bother me
