It appears to me that his new tractor dealer told him there was no DVD players in the new John Deere Platinum Series, and he was bummed, because he took a crap on his current one and had to go buy a new John Deere Platinum Series, but since they do not have DVD's in them, he wants to know what to do.

I think he should probably just clean the crap off the old one and keep it.

all i know is that it must be nice to be able to buy a new 70-80k dollar truck every 2 years. especially on a farmers earnings.

maybe he could rig up some sort of screen thing on the hood of his new tractor that has those pluggy thingys in the back of it to hook up that thingy you put discs into and then moving pictures would appear on screen thingy.

then he can watch his porn while driving

Whoa sorry fat fingered my phone! No tractor, just a truck with no DVD. Hard to believe that you loose options on the new trucks. I've done a little research and it sounds like when they went to navigation on sd cards instead of dvd's they quit putting CD players that would read DVDs. Makes no sense to me, but what do I know I took my truck to a tractor dealer:)

Someone with a 13 go put a DVD in the nav system and see if this is true. It is hard to believe that ford would do that but then again I have never watched a DVD on mine. I guess if your kids want to watch a movie thats what the head rest dvd players are for.

Ford made big changes to their DVD systems early this year. The changeover resulted in fewer models and trim levels getting DVDs through production or even available as a dealer install. Currently there are no plans to release a Ford accessory DVD system for the Platinum SD's. If there is anything available, it would be through aftermarket.
