Over 3k ft lbs things have to be perfect to cause the clutches to last. Our shift box has a momentary switch to dump shift prrsssure to reset back to 1st after the burnout. With the momentary switch we weren't bleeding off all the pressure causing a few lbs of pressure to still be in the system and causing the clutches to drag in 1st. We have new 3 way normally closed and open to atmo when closed solinoinds that will fix that issue and they flow more so we have apply faster.
yeah I hear ya. gotta be some out there running that much torque though. I'm praying for the best for you and the team!

trans issues fixed. Spent yesterday at the track. We were limited to 1/8th mile because of a cross wind. Best time was 5.29 and mph was 139. our ET suffered because I was limited to foot brake launches only as our trans brake stopped holding. but we gathered information!

Did one 1.29 when the track was fresh later in the day I only was able to get 1.30s

Leaving with 35ish psi is all he foot brake wants (dual rears to thanks for that) I want to be able to leave at 60 on the trans brake.

If the Lenco is holding, that's a big step forward!
Did you actually get thru all the gears? As in, shouldn't be any more surprises with the trans?

Yeah shifted fine. The shift box on the other hand caused problems... again... our tach signal has to much noise in it causing it to shift during staging. Fairly annoying considering how much prep it takes to just reset the car for the next pass. We were at the track 6 hours yesterday and got 4 passes.

Found the issue with the trans brake. the band was bottoming out and keeping it from clamping. New band is heading this way. We will be making full 1/4 passes Saturday.
