very impressive !!

agreed. the 11-14 turbo doesn't like low speed resistance ( comp wheel speed ) . seeing that highway speeds are all 1500-2000 this is a much stronger truck at relative speeds to the other intakes. simply a flow issue. not to mention the filter will require cleaning half as often.

will at Rudy's will be testing on their dyno as well to get a better average of different trucks on different dynos. as well morgan at Midwest will be testing this with billet wheel 15 turbos .

I'm getting my 15 retro kit Friday so I'm looking forward to getting this puppy on there as well. Nice work by the way, nice increase in power and torque.

I have a feeling it will show ALOT more with a 2015 turbo.

I dynoed my truck this past saturday. I am still waiting on the dyno graphs which I will post up later but I wanted to fill everyone in with the results. For the dyno testing we felt that to get the most accurate results we would dyno mikes intake, the afe intake, and then the stock intake.

Here are the peak hp and tq of each intake:

Peak Hp
Stock-442
Afe-444
No Limit-451

Peak Tq
Stock-1027
Afe-1044
No Limit-1058

As you can see the no limit has a pretty good gain over the afe. But what was really impressive was when we started breaking the tq numbers at a given rpm.

At 1600 rpm (Tq)
Stock-386
Afe-448
No Limit-512

At 1700 rpm (Tq)
Stock-515
Afe-571
No Limit-663

At 1800 rpm (Tq)
Stock-693
Afe-748
No Limit-825

At 1900 rpm (Tq)
Stock-872
Afe-931
No Limit-942

These tq numbers definitely confirm the difference I immediately felt when I put on the No Limit intake.
holy ***!! hp gain isnt huge but holy hell those tq gains are very very impressive. especially when it counts the most for 90% of these tucks at that certain rpm range!

I thought the same thing. when cole originally reported to me that it drove like a totally different truck , it didn't make a lot of sense, its an intake. but after seeing the drastic tq increase in what is the average driving rpm range for the srw trucks , it made ALOT more sense. after going over the results it appears , the 11-14 turbos design are very sensitive to restriction at low turbo rpm/speed . after talking to a few folks that understand turbos, that is definitely the case. so on top of American made, half of the cleaning intervals, and added peak powers , its going to make the stock turbo trucks much more happy. the 4" kit will follow very shortly and be compatible with all the dual fueler kits on the market, as well have an optional heat shield .

Are you expecting similar low end torque gains out of your 4" kit on the 11-14 trucks?

at this point yes, unless we get VERY tricky.
whats in the way, the tube or the filter? also to make more room, why not remove the rest of the stock airbox brackets and headlight plastic funnel thing-a-ma-jig? a 10" long by 10"diameter round filter, not a cone, will fit down in there almost enough to get a 90° 4" piece of tube going to the stock breather tube... so I am sure you could get that cone down in there further by removing all the other stuf. if need be that is..
